Control and organize the display, functioning, and storage of TPS files by applying the random scrambling scenarios in order to minimize bias in digitizing landmark locations, restoring the original order for repeated statistical analysis, creating empty files and adding keywords, etc.
tpsUtil is a utility program designed to help when working with tps files. It can randomly scramble the order of specimens to reduce bias in landmark location digitization, restore the original order, create an empty TPS file from an image file directory, add keywords and values to the TPS file variables field, combine TPS files into one, delete/reorder landmarks, remove outlines from a TPS file, and convert TPS and NTS files to NTS, M, or CSV formats. It can also split an NTS file into multiple matrices.
